Green Pepper Dip

This recipe is a favorite of my mom but even if you think that green peppers and onions have too much bite for you, this one is worth trying - they mellow out after marinating.

INGREDIENTS: 2 green peppers, diced

1 medium onion, diced

4 Tbsp. sugar

2 tsp. oil

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. lemon juice

16 ozs. cream cheese


Marinate the peppers and onion in the sugar, oil, salt and lemon juice for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator, stirring often. Drain well and mix in the cream cheese until well blended.
